Elbaite (a.k.a. blue quartz crystal), one of the rarest crystals was found by Long Chu Keng while doing some repairs caused by the recent earthquakes. He fell into a sinkhole that was also created by the earthquakes and sprained his left ankle. Though he sprained his ankle he was a happy man because the predicted amount of money of the whole crystal mine is S$200 million.
Before 40 years old Long Chu Keng had this richly find, he worked at CCBC as the repair expert. He was repairing the base of the flat when he fell into the sinkhole. It was exactly 3:46pm on the 7th of October.
